मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने आज नादौन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अमलैहड़ में 125 कनाल भूमि पर 25 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाले राजीव गांधी डे-बोर्डिंग स्कूल का शिलान्यास किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को इस स्कूल के प्राइमरी विंग को एक साल के भीतर तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए। स्कूल में आधुनिक खेल सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बड़े बदलाव करने जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा में तीन अलग-अलग निदेशालय बनाने पर विचार किया जा रहा है, जिसमें प्री-प्राइमरी से लेकर दूसरी, तीसरी से बारहवीं और स्नातक के लिए अलग निदेशालय बनाने पर विस्तार से चर्चा की जा रही है। आने वाले समय में राज्य सरकार इस संबंध में फैसला करेगी।
10 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में डे बोर्डिंग स्कूल बनाने का काम शुरू
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि राजीव गांधी डे-बोर्डिंग स्कूलों के माध्यम से प्रदेश सराकर ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बदलाव की शुरूआत की है। प्रदेश में 10 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में राजीव गांधी डे-बोर्डिंग स्कूलों का निर्माण कार्य आरंभ हो चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्रामीण परिवेश में सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले विद्यार्थियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करना सरकार की परिकल्पना है। इसलिए राज्य सरकार प्रत्येक विधानसभा क्षेत्र में चरणबद्ध तरीके से राजीव गांधी डे-बोर्डिंग स्कूल स्थापित कर रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि इन स्कूलों में एक ही छत्त के नीचे सभी आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी ताकि विद्यार्थी आत्मविश्वास के साथ जीवन में आने वाली चुनौतियों का सामना कर सकें। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वह इन स्कूलों के निर्माण कार्य की प्रगति की समीक्षा कर रहे हैं।
पूर्व सरकार ने बिना स्टाफ के खोले 600 स्कूल
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पूर्व भाजपा सरकार ने स्टाफ का प्रावधान किए बिना 600 स्कूल खोल दिए। वर्तमान सरकार ने फैसला किया कि इन स्कूलों को तब तक नहीं खोला जाएगा, जब तक इनमें पर्याप्त स्टाफ का प्रावधान नहीं किया जाता। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व भाजपा सरकार की नीतियों के कारण गुणात्मक शिक्षा का स्तर गिरा और हिमाचल प्रदेश देश में 21वें स्थान पर पहुंच गया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने पिछले दो वर्षों में शिक्षा विभाग में 11,833 पद स्वीकृत किए हैं। 3,196 टीजीटी, जेबीटी तथा सीएंडवी शिक्षकों को नियुक्ति प्रदान की जा चुकी है तथा अन्य पदों को राज्य चयन आयोग के माध्यम से भरने की प्रक्रिया जारी है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा 6,297 अर्ली चाइल्डहुड केयर एजुकेशन ट्यूटर, 5,291 टीजीटी, शास्त्री तथा जेबीटी के साथ-साथ 245 स्पेशल एजुकेटर की भर्ती की जा रही है।
